I need a plumber to replace faulty bath shower mixer tap and basin taps.
This contractor was extremely quick to reply to my job posting and completed the work to a high standard within a couple of hours. I would definitely use them again. I could not have wished for anything more.

Leaking shower waste pipe. Also refixing a wash basin to the wall. We also have a problem with a bad smell from the drains outside due to shared drain pipe with next door house that was empty until recently but now has 6 people living there. Drain not yet blocked but it might be a matter of time. No idea about costs. To start asap.
John quoted £150 to attach a basin and sort a shower leak (said it was faulty silicone or waste trap). On inspection he said the trap was the issue and sorted it. However, next day both shower & basin leaked! So he fixed the basin and charged me again, £25, to silicone the shower. He even took the premium silicone I'd bought for the job! Yet the shower still leaked and his grouting absorbed water! I chased for weeks but never saw him again. His quality of work is poor & after service care is non-existent.

Bathroom basin mixer tap stopped working. No water at all. On/off valve seems very light. Not sure it its broken or if its a washer issue. Unsure of costs.
Ive used numerous contractors through this site and other similar sites over the past few years. Few come close to the level of service, attention to detail and quality of work that Penny Plumbing provide. He's newly established and keen to build a reputation, so he clearly cares about his work and is not complacent, as so many other established contractors seem to be. Highly recommended. You will do well to find better.

Remove current wall hung, close coupled Twyford QN2105 toilet cistern and supply and fit new cistern of same - current one leaks due to a small crack. In addition tighten toilet seat hinge.
Professional, very helpful and job well executed. Would happily recommend to others and use SMK Projects again.

Refurbish cloakroom. Replace small sink, toilet, tile walls, paint ceiling and woodwork.
After accepting quote we were told that they would telephone with a starting date on two seperate occassions. As they did not telephone, we decided that they were unreliable and cancelled the job.
