Fix leak under the kitchen sink and check/repair upstairs toilet. The toilet is taking a long time to refill after flushing (over 10 minutes)
Quick and reliable. Had some trouble with replacing a toilet part which was left, but other than that fixed the slow filling toilet. No leak found under sink.

Turning on hot water (shower or bath) makes a very loud hum noise (like a ships horn!).
Turned up exactly when they said they would and job fixed - can't say better than that. Would certainly recommend and will use again.

Central heating not working properly. Gas boiler, looks original with the house so approx 20 years old maybe. Boiler in good condition, seems to fire for hot water and sometimes for heating, very odd. Basically heating not coming on when required.
He came one weekend to replace the boiler thermostat and service the boiler, charged £90 and was there 1 hour. Was supposed to come back the following weekend to replace the pump and 3 port valve, but never turned up. After waiting a week I rang and left a message and I'm still waiting to hear back, that was 11 days ago now. Our house is still cold.

The job involves 2 parts (so maybe 2 separate quotes?) Firstly, remove existing pedestal sink from downstairs WC and "cap off" water supply. Secondly, a couple of weeks later, fit/plumb new pedestal sink into same area of downstairs WC. I need a gap of approx 2 weeks between the 2 jobs in order to replace flooring, remove some tiles from around sink basin area, repair some plasterwork etc. I'll do this work myself. The new pedestal sink, mixer tap and waste drain have already been purchased and collected.

I am currently having my conservatory rebuilt . There is a tap on the inner wall of the conservatory which needs resiting to an outer wall as the new conservatory will be plastered. This work needs to be done urgently as construction of the new conservatory is already underway
