I require grass and weeds cleaned off the chimneys. Eight pots need anti bird spikes as does around the two chimney stacks and along the apex of the roof.

Well what can I say I read ratings all the time and think are they made up? to give the contractor a good read up, well not this time. Came the day he said he would, did MORE work then asked and was a third cheaper than other quotes! Job done in three days in adverse weather conditions - unbelievable. Left a mess with tab stumps etc. but was happy to clear up as was so pleased with the result. I have no hesitation in recommending Wilson to others and I will give them further work in the future. Over the summer i had a roofer to look at the flashing, (House built 1972) now the snow.bad weather has arrived we have damp plaster around the chimney breast and discolouration on the roof area in the bedroom, around the chimney breast, which seems to be coming from the back area of the chimney/roof top down side flashing area. The house has dormers front and rear and the area is approx 4 metres above ground level
Amazed. Scotstone turned up earlier than expected. I showed him the problem in the room and he knew what it was straight away. After an inspection of the outside chimney area a crack/split was found on the flashing and he quoted me a price to do the job there and then. The work has been guaranteed and as long as all goes well, Scotstone will be getting more work from me in the future as my wife has a few plans in mind.

Repairs required to a 2nd floor roof as water is getting in between the lower & upper floors & is showing as stains on the sitting room roof.
On looking from a upper floor dormer window loose slates can be seen which is in align to the water ingress.
The building is an old 3 storey block converted into flats.

About 26 m of UPVC guttering ripped away by snow sliding off roof, and one downpipe also down. There are 3 or 4 slates that I can see that have also been damaged or removed - need replacement and roof needs overall inspection. Gutters are at height of about 4.5 metres back of house (a steading conversion), less at front. Would appreciate advice on whether to replace with stronger gutters/different type eg half-round, or different material eg alumasc. Have been advised slate roofline should overhang the gutters a bit more. Don't know if that could/should be done as well. Needs discussion of different options and different costs for these.
