"Although pleasant personally, Sean from probuild walked off our job part way through even though we'd paid over half the contract sum (£2,000). He simply wasn't up to the job that we'd asked him to do (take flat roof off garage, replace with a pitched roof) and I think he found that he'd under quoted. He simply didn't turn up one day and sent me a text saying "the company has gone bust" (which we later confirmed was a lie). Sad thing was, if he'd come to us and explained we might have been able to sort things out. I think he's up to replacing the odd tile or flat roof, but I wouldn't trust him for anything bigger."
