We must have damage in our kitchen roof due to all the rain recently - we have had water running down the kitchen wall! Really need to have this looked at and fixed asap. I don't believe this is a very big job.

Bungalow 70s built needs roof overhaul. In particular the soffits need underpinning and tiles re-cementing. Plus some tiles may need repositioning due to slippage and possible ridge tiles recementing. Also we have a flat roofed garage which needs some work donew as uit leaks.
Fortunately a gap in the rain was sufficent for our job to be done!!and they did a good job,

have a small leak in my roof...not currently pouring with water, but have a wet patch appeared on my bedroom celling. the wet patch is near the light, so need to get it sorted soon so the water doesn't get into the electrics

There is a small 1/2 inch, approx gap in the gutter possibly because a piece of the guttering has blown off in a high wind. When it rains, the water quickly pours down from the gutter in a noisy heavy stream. It is damaging brickwork and plants. Access to the gutter is very straightforward and I might have the missing piece.
I would say it is a most important repair to us and not more than a day's work
Alan repaired an area of guttering on our house which had been causing problems for quite some time.
He carried out the work efficiently, within budget and to a very good standard.

a) all clumps of moss removed using a scraper/stiff brush - not a high pressure washer

I'm buying a victorian property and the homebuyers report has come back with work needed on the roof, for qhich i need to get some quotes. The external roof timbers are rotten and need repairing, as does the felt lining, fascias, soffits and some concrete tiles. The guttering is also leaking and in need of repair.
