Updated : Two chimney breasts needing flash lining/repointing. We have just bought a property which we have some work to undergo before we can move in. We need some chimney repairs ASAP so we can move on with other jobs as this one was unexpected! We are under the impression that the lead flashing needs replacing/repairing and think it needs some repointing work. We also need someone to replace a few slate tiles for us on the roof. We have no budget in mind as we are unsure of the exact work that needs carrying out, though I had to put a figure in so I could proceed! Thanking you in advance. Richard was very personable, was extremely quick-completed the work at time of quotation! We had nothing to compare the cost to so can't really state whether value or not, and through binoculars it wasn't the prettiest job. That said we did ask for speed and speed we got!! I'm not sure
The underfelt has completely gone on the rear elevation of my small victorian terraced house. I need an honest opinion on whether this really needs replacing and someone to examine the roof and replace any tiles as needed. The front (wooden) guttering is leaking in 2 places and needs repair/replacement.
Phil and Paul contacted us promptly and provided a fair assessment of the state of our roof- which was basically fine. The guttering work was satisfactorily and promptly completed, and Paul quickly returned to fix one part that was a bit problematic.

Updated : Suspect the leak maybe from missing flashing or perished lead. There is also at least one suspect tile missing which requires replacing. Flexible on budget once quotations are received. Original : Leak into converted loft space. It appears to be entering the property from where the apex of the roof meets the chimney breast. Previously had lead repointed and ridge tiles re-cemented but this has not prevented the leak, if anything it is now worse. Roofer at the time checked the lead soakers but these were believed to be ok. Require quotations to award work and contractor with correct access equipment to complete the repairs.

there is a small leak evident from an internal chimeney breast. Only apprent whenraining heavily...looks like its coming down the chimeney so possibly chimeney not capped properly??? Also remmove old TV aerial if possoible

A section of centre lead flashing is missing at one chimney stack. I assume this is causing a damp patch in the loft space directly above the missing lead on the spanning centre timber struss. However a second damp patch is also forming in the same area on the opposite adjoining wall on the neighbouring chimney stack. In this instance though there is no lead flashing visibly missing. In both cases we can only see one sloping elevation of the roof through a relux window so we cannot see the condition of all lead flashing and surrounding slate tiles.

Flat roof approx 3.4 metres x 1.2 metres with slight pitch, coming off slated roof. Roof is currently felted, requires repair, small leak in corner. Roof covers stairwell to third floor. Easy access to roof from roof garden. Would like to also install skylight/sun tube to increase natural light onto stairwell below.
