Tom & Terry responded to calls promptly and provided an excellent service. They repointed all ridges and when a further issue arose they didn't fail to come and have a second look and undertake further repairs. Would definately recommend.

I require the smallest size of velux window fitting where there is an existing fixed window, the hole we need enlarging slightly. I also have two small leaks that require attention.
This was only a small job, but we were let down by several other roofers. D&J Roofing came out quickly and clearly explained the work required. Work carried out on time at reasonable price. Left site clean and tidy. Happy to recommend.

The house is a 1930's semi. We have removed the internal chimney breasts. The chimneys (2 chimneys, 4 chimney pots) above the roofline need capping as there is moisture coming into the internal walls from possible rainwater . There is loose mortar on the roof following winds last winter. Mortaring needs making good.

Semi house, has shared chimney stacks. One at front, and one at back. Job is for my half sides only. To rake out all brick mortar, and repoint with hard waterproof/ frostproof mortar. Remove old flaunching, and lift pots, refit pots, and replace flaunching with special hard waterproof/ frostproof mortar. Lead-work is ok, but all lead-leaves have to be removed, secured, and rebedded with mortar. I will pay £120 for all the work ( 2 half chimneys) Only experienced professionals need apply. PS the neighbour might agree for his side if you ask him when you start. More work may be available.
The main job was water dripping from chimney pots. It is still exactly the same, they still drip. The reason is they did not do the job i specified to rebed the pots flaunching. When they got here they said it was caused by the missing lead leaf. This was also part of the job , but again they did not rebed them fully as specified, they only repaired them. The other main issue was removal of a small kitchen chimney. Taking this down was very simple, but when retiling the area, they took forever by trying to bodge it. They had wanted to skimp on tiles. They kept trying not to use the first row, wasting hours, Eventually i said, put all the tiles on the first course, only then did they do so, and did it in 10 mins. All this for 10 tiles or so even though a neighbour gave them free. Anyway this wasted time that could have been spent on the chimneys. In short they changed the job to suit themselves, and tried to skimp on tiles, end result i still have the leak. And if i hadnt of insisted on a proper job of tiling, i would have had a new leak in the kitchen. If you employ them watch them like a hawk. I asked them to come back but they have ignored me.

3 bed semi new guttering to be fitted. (I will supply materials from wickes.) Remove old gutters, one downpipe, fit new. Only experienced professionals need apply
the job was for new guttering. he marked the fall using a spirit level instead of a line. No wonder it leaks at the last joint. One gutter is about 1/2 inch higher than the one it joins to, hence the leak. I pointed this out and he tried to fix it, but he left it the same. After many calls, he promised to come back but never has. So i still have leaking gutters, thanks Melford, you could easily be a great roofer, but trying to skimp on brackets and not using a line is amatuer. If you employ him make sure he doesnt do that to you. ;-(

will need ladders as house is 2 storey -not sure re scaffolding - house is late 1950's 3 bed semi - not sure at all re measurements
Having stupidly paid a depsoit 6 weeks aog have not heardfrom since despite having 2 email addresses 2 phone numbers and the house address and the phone number on the business card given to us is never turned on. could not possibly recommend him to anyone!
