new build flashing not weather proof straight line. 8mtrs approx. badly sealed needs repairing and sealing into pointing. original builder gone out of business. not an insurance job. work guarantee required. payment on completion, no advance payments!
Total reroof of new build. Advised us of faults the previous roofer had hidden,proved by council building inspectors refusing to sign off previous builders(Creative Construction) unsafe shoddy work. Michael did work he did not quote for at no extra charge, photographs of before and after were supplied. I would recommend Michael Gilchrist and crew as honest perfectionists. Left site spotless clean.

We recently have had water finding its way in due to bleaching rain on the gable wall of our house. This water seems to be coming in on the chimney wall and due to the water staining on this wall seems to have been occuring for some time . We have had one roofer in the area look at it and he said this was due to missing flashings he also reccommended that we had the chimney pointed and that some of the tiles would have to be stripped back and felt and latts renewed also that the ridge tiles were loose and needed securing . We are tied to a limited budget for this work so quotes for the remedial work needs to be reasonable . The water has started to run down dining room wall so needs to be done promptly. Timing: ASAP
