Hi: this is a Frizington-based small job (hopefully small) for my elderly mother's home. Several years ago, her previous neighbour had the guttering at the back of his property replaced. A slightly different style to the original was used (I suspect this may have contributed to this problem). Where the neighbour's guttering and my mother's guttering joins there is now a bad leak which is creating damp on the rear exterior wall. There is sealant around the guttering join, which has obviously perished - this is evident from the upper back bedroom window. I don't know if the only solution is new sealant to be applied or whether a more robust and permanent solution is possible (cost would obviously be a consideration). I would appreciate your reasonable quote and availability.
I look forward to hearing from you at your convenience. Many thanks.
David Weir provided a very competative and fair quote for the work needed and a comprehensive invoice afterwards. He was easy to contact and stayed in regular contact, fulfilling all his commitments within the time frame specified. I found him to be reliable, very down-to-earth with a can-do, no-fuss attitude. In addition, he was extremely helpful and personable and I would have no hesitation in re-employing him for any future maintenance work needed.Grace
I could not fault the workmanship of Matt. He stayed until the job was complete. After a long period of heavy rain we were desperate to get the roof on the property and Matt came on the first dry day. The quality of the work was impressive and his pleasant character goes along way.johnarton
