Scaffolding required. One cracked tile in roof, suspected chimney flashing repair, south facing ground floor bay window roof leaks and would like to replace felt with better quality solution, 2nd floor west facing bay roof flashing has come away from the wall, would like quality repair rather than felt, also believe silicone needs replacing around bathroom window and there is a problem above back door in kitchen - may be guttering problem, but not sure. I would like a written quote detailing suspected faults and proposed remedial work, but I do need to get the work done ASAP. I have been told by a friend that the Bay roofs may cost c £1500 each, but the cracked tile and silicone should be cheap. Total budget depends on what the exact problems turn out to be.
They were very professional and attentive, and the fact that the proprietor spent a good length of time at the outset assessing what needed to be done (and actually went up on the roof and took pictures to show me, rather than only guessing from ground level) before submitting their quote was very reassuring. The work was completed in good time, it looks good and I have not had any leaks since it was completed. It also cost less than I expected and I would have no hesitation in reccomending this company.
