Reviews of Roofers in Swadlincote, Derbyshire

Our home is showing signs of damp which appears to come from the Roof/Chimney area. We need a tradesman to identify and rectify the problem.
Excellent response, arrived on time, carried out the work, checked that I was happy with the job, gave receipt for payment - everyone is happy. Well done and thanks again Lee

Updated : A single shingle has fallen away from above the window, not ten as your budget of £500 suggests. I work in the construction industry and know the value of jobs. I had a complete dormer roof re coated with bituminous paint earlier in the year for £100.00 so I know the value of this job, I man, a ladder and a new 100*100 tile. Original : A shingle has fallen away and a new shingle installed
Excellent service, prompt, friendly and trustworthy, came in below budget.

Semi Detached 2 storey property. Repointing of ridge & 2 hips, and chimney. Replacement of around 10 or 12 tiles. Clearing out of guttering. Please do not contact before 5:30pm
Stuck to the quoted price even though extra kit was needed which required a re-visit. I would have preferred that extra time had been spent on the chimney, but considering the complexity of kit that would have been required to allow that to happen, the time available, my budget, and the amount of time required to do the hip ridges (which were the main concern) properly and safely, this is understandable. Overall, very happy with the outcome of their visit.

An old garage roof leaking in water, will need felt stripping and fixing new felt. But like I said it's an old garage I don't require the most exspensive materials for the job.
Claudiu was great. Checked and completed my garage roof in two days. Fantastic.

There are signs of water running down the chimney wall inside the attic, I think it is a problem with the lead flashing. I think the flashing will need to be repaired / replaced. This is a semi-detached house with good access to the roof from the front of the building.
Very quick to quote, turned up on time & a good job done at a reasonable rate. Would be happy to use again, in fact we will be getting Jamie to repair a guttering problem for a neighbour in the next wek or 2.

We have a Garage that is in need of a new roof. We currently have a plastic corrugated roof that leaks everywhere. We are looking for quotes and maybe advise to what is best. We ideally want a new Roof with guttering etc we want if possible a slanting roof rather than a flat if this is possible? We also have 2 windows that need bricking up as they leak and look onto a fence. We welcome anyone who can give us the best quote for the work that needs doing. Thank you

We have two roofing jobs that we need completed, ideally at the same time. 1) The first job is relatively simple, we have a roof over a corridor with a skylight in it (picture attached), we need the roof, battens and joists etc. removing, then new joists and battens fitted, and new skylight (which we will supply) installed and then the original tiles replaces, with lead soakers around the edge covered in a lime mortar flashing, and lead flashing to the rear wall and all around the new skylight. The quote I want is for all labour and materials and scaffolding, except the skylight and lime mortar which we can supply and any tiles that need replacing we will also supply. We will do the internal making good etc. 2. The second job is to completely remove the roof of the outbuilding we are going to convert, including all the supporting joists, purlins etc. Then to rebuild the support structure it in a way which maximises the head room but ensures structural strength (using steels or wood, whichever is most appropriate), then put on felt, space blanket insulation, battens, fit two new dormer windows (we will supply) and finally the original tiles back and do the lead soakers down each side with lime mortar flashing and lead flashing around the two dormer windows. Pictures of the roof from both sides, plus the current internal support structure are attached. Again, the quote I want is for all labour and materials and scaffolding except the two dormer windows and lime mortar which we can supply and any tiles that need replacing we will also supply. I have not put in a job budget, as I prefer to receive quotes from professionals, rather than me trying to guess what it should cost as a layman... Ideal start date: mid April
