Updated : Repair to leaking roof. Bedroom bay window has small pitched roof joined to main roof with V-Channels on either side. There is a leak somewhere in the right hand channel which allows water to travel down, over waterproofed DPC covering, down to iron lintel above lounge window and into lounge ceiling. The leaking roof needs repairing before lounge ceiling can dry out. Double Roman roof tiles on either side of left and right channels need lifting and old cement removed. Channeling material on both sides needs replacing and the roof tiles replaced and sealed with waterproofed cement so that whole area is watertight once more. Original : IInsurance surveyor investigating damp lounge ceiling has indentified potential leak in roof channeling above the bedroom above the lounge. Repair not covered by insurance but leaking roof channeling requires repair.
Responded very quickly to the initial enquiry, gave a fair and very informed quote. Once accepted the work was started and completed within several days. Excellent standard of work using quality materials. Would have no hesitation in recommending Marcus to friends. Well worth the five star rating.

Quality rating is only 3 as currently only have recieved quote (accepted) not had work completed - however was professional in his manner, responded to all my queries and provided a good value quote. Expect work to begin in the next weeks weather permitting

Mike and his son worked very hard in the worst rain and snow of December to ensure we were inconvenienced as little as possible by the reroofing of our kitchen. They were completely reliable, arrived every day at the time agreed, organised materials to be delivered as they were needed and they left the site clean and tidy. They were polite and courteous throughout. The kitchen is now warm and well insulated. I would highly recommend them.

I am not a builder! There is damp coming in through a chimney breast it is also on the ceiling and I don't know whether it is because of the way the chimney has been capped because it is no longer in use or because there is damaged flashing or if it is an act of God.
First rate job, promptly done, clearly explained and when completed everything tidied away. It was great.

An exellent job completed quickly and efficienlty. I would not hesitate to recommend this first class tradesman who was fully aware of the need to do the job well and speedily.

Repair work has already been attempted once (prior to the chimney being repaired) but it has not fixed the leak, urgent repair required.
