I have three separate roof/guttering jobs that need doing: 1. Repair/replace leaking leadwork above a bay window (1900 red brick terrace) 2. Repair leaking guttering at front of property. 3. Fix leak at rear of property, which I think is arising from water penetrating into gap between rear wall and next door's extension. Also to remove an old wooden planter from the roof between the two properties.
All three problems are leading to water entering the property at present (made much worse by the recent heavy rainfall).
Flat roof over bay window/leak at rear/guttering work done. Booked the job in very quickly, good price, work carried out efficiently despite having a week of dreadful weather to contend with. Very pleasant and easy to have around. No more leaks, very happy.
Updated : This job is probably a repair to lead flashing as the tiles are new, but I have no idea either way which is why the job is partly exploratory. Budget wise it is difficult to estimate before an investigation has taken place. Ultimately, the budget is a function of the scale and complexity of the work to be done; it will cost what it needs. Original : Internal damp on internal chimney breast suggests leak in or around external lead flashing above chimney stack, but problem needs investigation. Replacement roof two years ago has not solved the problem.
Excellent in all respects! Extremely accommodating and very friendly; a company prepared to go the extra mile. Everything provided as planned / promised - a high quality experience in every way. I thoroughly recommend RoofCare UK and Lyndon Matthews - simply outstanding. Steve of Montpellier, Cheltenham

Finding and repairing a leak or leaks probably around chimney flashing.
We've recently had an aerial point moved at the front of our house. Soon afterwards we noticed that dampness around the socket was causing the area around the aerial to get damp and the paint to peel. I think this is because the previous guy didn't seal the entry point properly, and water is running down the cable and into the point.
The entry point is behind the guttering and, as a result, it would require the removal of some of it in order to properly seal it. I'd like someone to both remove the guttering and seal the hole.
An extention off the kitchen is leaking and need it fixed asap. Thank you. Carol
