Budget Under £100

Job We have a leaking guttering on the front elevation to our house. It is either moss filled or the brackets need re affixing. It was cleared out last year. Please note we have a double garage under our four bedroom house so a minimum of a three tier ladder will be required to reach the front. Please quote for the cost to check, clean and re affix brackets where necessary. Thank you.

Job repair damaged roof from last week storms including replacing a few slates and refixing loose facia board.

Job Replace single white UPVC facia board (beneath roof gutter) which was broken in the wind (?). Check and resecure any loose roof tiles / ridge tiles that may exist (not sure if there are any loose ones!).

Comment I was contacted within two hours of my submitting my requirement to the Rated People website and he was able to come and quote for the job within the hour. This was a good start! Upon my accepting his (very reasonable) quote, he was able to rearrange his day and commence the job immediately (i.e. the same day). Unlike many, he hadn't tried to get me to have more work done than anticipated, but he did advise me on a number of technical issues that were arising (at my request) - and even invited me up on the roof to see for myself. I welcomed this extra care and professionalism and he was able to do all I asked while keeping costs low. He worked industriously from the word 'Go' and did a beautiful, painstaking job of repairing the felt, re-securing loose tiles, fitting a new fascia, gutter and soffits, disposing of the old material and tidying the site. I really could not have asked for more and would have absolutely NO hesitation in employing Derek again, or in recommending his services to others. Excellent!! Keith
