I have a small leak from the roof and I'd like someone to have a look at it.
It's hard to give a full rating as we haven't had a heavy rain downpour yet - but I'm hoping it's worked a treat. I found the guys to be professional, reliable and I would use again - I thought the work they did was quite expensive but in fairness I don't know in reality if that's true. I paid £830 for a days work for two people and new materials used for a patched fix on a leaking roof. This might be spot on - it's hard for me to say.

I had an extension to my house 20 years ago. When there is very heavy rain water seeps into the loft and then into a bedroom directly below the chimney block. The water runs down the wall which previously was the outside wall but now is a wall within the bedroom. The chimney block now sits in the middle of the house it appears on outside inspection that the lead flashings on the chimney may not have been completed satisfactorily and/or the rendering on the chimney is now not satisfactory and moisture seeping through accordingly. I would ask the roofer to supply ll materials

At a minimum our large tiled roof requires patching up. Some missing, broken tiles and some ridge/hip tiles may need replacing or re-bedding. Some guttering brackets (plastic) need reattaching to fascias. Around half of the roof is the original 1930's construction (the rest being an extension in the 80s). If the condition of the roof is deemed poor enough and it is economical to do so, perhaps we would consider re-roofing, this would include replacement of fascias and guttering.
BPL Roofing have completely re-roofed our large 1930s semi to an extremely high standard and we are very happy to recommend them to others. Ben and his father make an excellent team, their many years of experience showing in their attitude and ability. Ben took time to inspect our roof thoroughly before quoting, discussed options with us and offered helpful advice when we needed to make choices. BPL suggested that we reused our existing clay tiles that were in good condition, and they sourced reclaimed clay tiles to match - this has left us with a beautiful new roof that is instantly in keeping with the rest of our property. BPL also replaced all our wooden fascia boards and guttering. It was a pleasure having Ben and his team working on our house, they were tidy, reliable and took care when working. I just wish I could always find trades people who could provide such an excellent service.

Garage roof is 4.9m by 2.9m, slightly pitched with cement fibre sheets held onto angle irons with hook bolts. Its a concrete sectional garage in the garden. Looking to have the bolts cut and roof tiles removed. Then use the existing angle iron frame to put on box profile steel sheets with anti condensation. Or bitumen corrugated sheets (dark green). Or whatever will work and is cheap.
Changed our cement tile roof to coroline. Efficient, good-humoured and a good job for a reasonable price. Will use again for sure. Thanks Adam & Pete.

In addition to this we need various high high level wood soffixes repaired, guttering cleaned and replaced where necessary and a survey on a joint chimney (chimney area with neighbours) that appears to be dripping internally.
