There is water coming in to the top bedroom. It started this morning and water is now leaking along and down the side wall.
Leigh was prompt at calling me back and then coming round to view the problem. He very quickly identified what the problem was and then sorted it out for me. Leigh was very efficient and very friendly. I would definately recommend Leigh to anyone needing a roofer. Many thanks, Jo

Check all ridge and edge tiles for their security of fixing. Replace those now missing or broken. Re-secure any others that you deem to be at risk of failure in the future. Also state what you feel were contributing factors for the failure, (a couple had been re-secured previously) ie not enough cement / wrong cement / stale cement / poorly installed. What might of helped retain the tiles if anything.
Very polite and timely service. Kept me up to date on their arrival. Explained what the cause of the problem was, how they would resolve it and the materials required to complete the work. Had to contact SJ Group to return as I noticed a slight problem that was only visable in daylight. This I didnt have a problem with as it was dark when they were still finiching off. They returned within a couple of days, again calling me when on their way. Job completed. Very sensible pricing.

Damp patches appearing around chimney breast in loft, assume flashing problem? Need a quote to repair/replace.
Very quick at providing a quote and undertook the work quickly as well, no complaints. Pleasant to deal with. Work was to stop issues with damp patches appearing around chimney breast in loft so it is not possible to confirm immediately if the problem has been fixed...time will tell.

Main problem is there can be no access from roof below as it is currently occupied by a seriously ill relative. Can this be done entirely from above ?
Well, Steve has renewed my faith in quality tradesmen. He was on time, extremely professional and very pleasant. The job was carried out in an excellent manner and I was pleasantly surprised with the bill. It is refreshing to deal with someone who is honest and with old fashioned high standards. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Three layer felt and bitumen with gravel top coat
It is always concerning when employing someone to do work on your house, no worries with Danny!! He was honest, straight forward and hard working, arrived at planned time and did a great job, leaving our place clean and tidy. Danny didn't try to get us to have something that we didn't want. Very good value for the money. Have already recommended him to someone else. Five Star Job!!!

I'm not sure
Victorian house (traditional L-shape) - water coming through ceiling in bedroom upstairs, directly underneath valley between two roof pitches. ? problem with valley or with guttering. Roof is tiled. Ladder would be required.
Barry contacted me very promptly and arrived when arranged to quote, providing a detailed description of the work needed. Following this, Barry again attended as arranged to carry out the work and left everything neat and tidy, providing photographs to illustrate the work undertaken and a written guarantee. A very pleasant, helpful and reliable tradesman. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Fibre glass covering and edge fascia rerquired as replacement waterproofing over a 5.7metre x 8.65 metre 'flat' roof already covered in 3 layers of bitumen felt. House is 26 years old and structure beneath is very good. I will remove the chippings prior to any work by tradesman. Also wish to discuss additional top 'warm roof' insulation say 60mm to 100mm as only 100mm inter roof joist insulation beneath. Timing: ASAP

downpipes blocked with moss, need clearing, s bend at top and bottom not straight through

Lynsted, ME9

Under £250
I have two blocked downpipes, the main one is the roofline down pipe with a bend at the top moving to a bend at the bottom over a single storey extension, the recent persistant rain is forcing water over the bottom joint and down the wall...this will, over time cause ingress to the inner wall. I believe that it is blocked with moss from the roof. The other is a straightforward blockage on a end of lower storey down pipe (easily accessible). The guttering is approximately 11 years old and is cast iron. I don't think that it is a major job but I just don't have the tools to do it
