Job downpipe may be blocked, gutter cast iron with part cast iron downpipe part plastic. water overflowing from gutter when raining with not much water coming from downpipe, water now leaking into house

Job average size garage plus about 3ft alley way

Comment Gave the job on the basis of cost and avalibility and suffered for it. roof felt just heated onto the side of the wooden beams and already peelling off only 6 hrs after he left the site. flashing all differnt lengths and no cement used in the mortar to the point it fell out 1 day after the job. roof was not bolted down. Over all a right "******!" people keep well away from this guy as i gave him the oppertunity to fix the issues and he just left the job leaving me the problem and "COST!" of removing his shoddy work and getting a correct job done. Hassle factor was high and even had the subcontract on the phone asking to come take the wood back from the job as he wasnt getting paid after. I have photos feel free to contact me for details. im in a good mind to call the trading standards really. Again BIG WARNING DO NOT USE THIS CONTRACTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tina

Job Resite 5 slipped slates on end terrace house

Comment I live in Warrington but own a property in Blackburn. It was difficult trying to locate a contractor and co-ordinate getting work viewed and completed. I found this web site and have to say I am so impressed. When I contacted Dave he told me he lived in Rochdale and as the job was not that big, replacing slates and lead work I didnt think he would want to come that far but he was very obliging. Dave was extremely courteous, punctual and totally reliable,and of course gave good value for money, so much so he will be doing more work for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to other customers. MISS
