Hard to judge quality because I'm not going on the roof to see. However he seemed to know what he was doing and finished in 3 hours with no time wasting.
Turned up on time (in fact early) and got to work immediately. Personable lad, easy to talk to - but pricey for an OAP.
Services required: Find and repair a leak I moved into the property mid July. I noticed marking on the ceiling of one room, where ceiling meets walls. I drew around it with a pen but the mark did not grow larger. Until the recent rain - so I know it is a leak.

We are noticing a number of brown patches appearing on the ceilings in various rooms in our bungalow. We require an investigation to find the cause of the patches and then a quote to repair the cause.
The front of the house needs replacement PVC cladding
Chimney repointing. Currently water getting through to bedroom.
Removal of unused brick built chimney stack at rear roof of property to below the tiled roofline.
Replacement of slate tiles matching the rest of the roof over area where chimney has been removed.
Other Slate Tiling repairs are req'd to roof and can be quoted for separately, but can probably be done at the same time.
slight leak next to chimney on bungalow
I have a Victorian 2 story house which is showing dampness on the upper floor, this I feel is coming from the chimney stack or from the flashings.
I need a quote for the scaffolding to be erected too.
Roof refurb to dormer bungalow. To include-:
All ridges and hips to all elevations removed and cleaned off existing ridges . Reinstalled using sound cement mortar and new hip irons.
Tile repairs to all elevations including removal of rusting gutter brackets.
All existing valleys cleaned and sealed .
Chimneys cleaned off.
All elevations jet washed off to remove greenery and moss.
Following this should the job be satisfactory there is a second part involving -:
Remove all existing guttering to all sides of the property
Install new wood grain UPC fascias and soffits including vents to all sides.
Install new guttering to all sides including downspouts.
All debris to be removed by contractor.
