Job We live in an end terrace and we have several spots of damp coming through the end walls (dining room, living room and bedroom) but most noticeably in the bedroom. The paint has peeled of the walls and we have lots of black damp at the top, where the wall meets the ceiling. Some rain also comes in at times.

Job Water is coming into the property - I suspect it is the lead flashing bt chimney also needs looking at.

Job Small repair required to outdoor brick shed roof. Lead flashing has been damaged and small amount of slates have come away. Damp now starting to penetrate adjoining wall due to missing slate. Timing: ASAP

Job One or possibly two Missing slate(s) in bottom rear corner of slate clad roof on a three storey building. Access can be gained internally into the roof void (not boarded out) from the second floor flat (tenant in occupation during the day or evening). There is no underfelting. We are hoping to avoid use of scaffolding. The property is in Wigan town centre and there are parking restrictions.

Job Can you give me a quote to supply and fit a velux top hinge window type 78cm x 98cm (M04) in white GHU 30 degree opening. To include the removal of the old window and any nesesary repair works to the roof timbers. I am in the Swinley area of Wigan.

Job roof repair small leak in extension where it joins the main building. I suspect it is where the flat roof joins. there is nothing visually obvious to me. flat roof is about 8 years old.

Job Slates have seen better days, Flashings abutting wall need re-newing. One roof we would like extending outwards by about 1/0ft to form an overhang (needs to be seen to understand the problem.

Comment Extremely good response to the enquiry. Good quote, arrived when they said they would and almost finished when they said they would, depite torrential rain, and having to bring in a scaffolding tower to deal with a difficult element of the roofing job. Didn't want any payment until the job was complete and we'd returned from holiday and seen the completed scheme. Cleared all the debris away and tidied up on completion. I would certainly recommend them to others. I'm an Architect/Director of a large Architectural Practice in the North West and have had over 35 years in the industry, so hopefully I know what I'm talking about. DAVE
