"I posted pictures of a water damaged 6x8ft flat roof on which the bitumen was severely damaged. Liam offered to estimate in person the very next day - his competitors did not estimate in person. Liam's rate was considerably less than his nearest rival's- some of whom included 'specialist roofing companies'. I asked Liam why his previous Rated People reviews were for plastering and not for roofing work and he explained that he has considerable roofing experience outside of Rated People but that smaller jobs were more common for him through the website. Liam was clear about his fee and that there would be no unforseen charges without explanation and consultation. Liam worked like a trojan and despite adverse heat on the first day and rains on the second he finished the works ahead of schedule and on budget. He replaced the damaged bitumen with his Kemper V-210 Waterproofing System and guaranteed his work for 15 years (5 years longer than the 'specialist roofing companies' would guarantee their bitumen alternatives). Liam went the extra mile in every aspect of the job - most notably in dealing with a slight concern I had after the job was finished and paid for - he returned to inspect and put me at my ease out of goodwill - his customer care was exemplary. I do not hesitate in recommending Liam as a first rate tradesman who takes his work and his clients seriously but who is also extremely friendly and personable. He will be my first port-of-call when future work arises."

Having agreed price, date and time to start the work, they arrived on time and immediately started working. Throughout the day they were considerate as they had to access the roof via the house, ensuring that everything was left clean and tidy. You would not think you had just spent a whole day with roofrees in the house as the roof looked like new (solar reflective paint). Would recommend this firm as a unit providing a service without being "ripped off", as you paid the price agreed with no add-ons."
