The roof and brick work at the back of our house (mainly just bathroom) is crumbling and over time has created a damp issue which has blown plaster in the bathroom walls.
We need someone who can fix both the roof and brick work and make good the damage done to the inside of the house.
Really pleased with the job. The guys arrived when they said, worked to complete the job to a high standard and left our place clean. Would definitely recommend them.Julie
1 area of damp is on the 3rd floor (modern building with flat roof) where I cant see the roof. The other is on the second floor at the corner of a flat roof with cladding. The cause needs to be investigated and then put right.
I cannot speak highly enough of ABC Roofing. They assessed and repaired my roof thoroughly and efficiently. I found them to be reliable and trustworthy and also very nice people. I have no hesitation in recommending them.Elizabeth
carry out repairs to asphalt & felt to the raised hatch area over loft area. Remove all plants; cut out splits to asphalt & repair with new asphalt. Rakeout defective poiint-ing, re point using mortar mix. Reflaunch cement works to top of chimney stacks. Seal all brickworks to parapaet walls using high peerformance water repellant. Clean and prepare all asphalt surfaces and recover using approved solar reflective paint.
One of the roofers arrived (on time) and after inspection of the roof gve us a very competitive quote. Having agreed price, date and time to start the work, they arrived on time and immediately started working. Throughout the day they were considerate as they had to access the roof via the house, ensuring that everything was left clean and tidy. You would not think you had just spent a whole day with roofrees in the house as the roof looked like new (solar reflective paint). Would recommend this firm as a unit providing a service without being "ripped off", as you paid the price agreed with no add-ons.Mary
Following the removal of a storage tank & some movement of the building itself my flat roof needs some repair work done to stop it leaking. A ladder will be needed to access the roof either from the back garden or through the skylight in the bathroom.
Friendly and efficient. Turned up when they said they would and did what looks like a good job.Benjamin
I have a suspected roof leak, brown stains on one ceiling, it's a flat roof and access is by ladder to be provided by builder, from 1st floor back roof and the building has ground first and second floors. If the source of the leak is found I would like it repaired. I need the appointment to be on 20th August.
I think they did a really good job, obviously time will tell but I have a ten year guarantee. They took photos of each stage of the process and emailed them to me. It turned out because there was too much water under the cracked blisters in the roof they had to totally take the previous roof up and dry out the water and then put one more layer of reinforced felt than anticipated and they kept to the original quote. They were initially the most expensive quote of 3 but I asked lots of questions and found out the difference in the options and quality of roofing felts and preferred to go for the new more flexible type rather than the traditional 3B brittle type. They were also straightforward and unpatronising and I feel reassured they did the best job possible, leaving me no fears of rotting sodden boards stranded under layers of 3B felt with chippings.Suzanne
I need a quote for getting 2 Oakford Road, NW5, re-roofed. This applies to the main roof and the bay - but not the kitchen extension at the back. One of the valley gutters has been renewed but all other gutters will need to be renewed in code 4 lead. The roof is suffering from nail fatigue so some existiing slates may be reused. The roof will need to be felt and battened and some insulation considered.

We are in the process of buying a property near Camden in London and would like to have the roof surveyed to check for any problems prior to purchase.
The roof appears to be in good order but we have been advised to have it checked by a roofer just to make sure as the property is old (built approx 1850 and is Grade II listed). It has a tiled "London Butterfly" roof.
In particular we would like to check for:
The general condition of the roof and tiles
The condition of the valley and to check for any leaks
The condition of the main timber beam supporting the butterfly roof
Any signs of damp, woodworm or rot in all the timbers
Condition of chimney stacks
Any other areas of concern
Please let me know if this is something you could help with and what the cost would be.
The property is a small two storey three bedroom mid terrace house. The roof is accessible from the rear of the property or via an external hatch from the loft space.

London Butterfly roof in need of complete repair. It is currently fitted with felt that has deteriorated. We have been quoted £6700 to completely remove this felt, replace, and fit with tiles. The quote includes scaffolding on one side of the building (and includes VAT).
We would like work that is insured only.
If success quoting - we also have some other works that we would be interested in getting quoted on while the scaffolding is up - potential for more work.
Thanks
Chia

I have a small, period terraced house with a pitched roof. Water is getting in, probably from the gulley in the roof, and is coming through the ceiling in two rooms.
