Job We have a leak in a flat roof and need it replaced

Comment I was looking to replace a flat roof and first4roofing provided me with both a felt covering option as well as explain the benefits of a fibreglass roof. I was provided with both quotes and having done my research went with the fibreglass option. The quotes provided were very reasonable and the work was carried out within the timescale outlined. I will definately use them again for other roofing requirements. Vikram

Job We need some pointing done to the roof and the chimney stack. A number of tiles have cracked and need replacing.

Comment I was very pleased with the speed that Ian came to do the job, and the value for money. However, after he had done the job a tile came loose, and Ian promised he would come to rectify the problem, I have sent him an email, because he did not come when promised and to date I have not received the courtesy of a reply. I find this very disappointing, because I am visually impaired and depend on tradesmen being reliable, because I cannot do these jobs myself. John

Job We have a timber frame kitchen extension with sloped roof. Fibre glass has been laid improperly and we need it to be re-laid with the correct proportions of glue/resin/hardener so that the roof dries up ASAP.

Job House is an end of terrace 1930s 2/3 bed property on the cuckoo estate in hanwell. The end of terrace has a one storey plastic roof lean-to along its length. The job is: To the main roof: Rake out a re-point the chimney, re point some/all ridge tiles. Take down cast iron guttering and renew in e.g. black half round plastic. Replace a few broken tiles with double roman (matching current). Wall up front of tiles. To a small bay window (at front of house) and the porch roof: Re point to lead flashings To the side elevation lean to: Supply and fit flash band flashing

Comment Job's a good 'un. Steve turned up on time, when he said he would. Very helpful and happy to talk through different options. He replaced cast iron guttering on our 3 bed end of terrace house, repainted the fascias, did some repointing and put some flashing on our side extension. He even went the extra mile to put a bit of guttering on our shed to feed a new water butt we were recently given. Lovely chap, would definitely employ him again. Jeni
