Top floor (2nd floor) flat, in a recently converted Victorian building. We have a pitched slate roof, that leads down to a 1 and a half foot flat roof.
We are getting water through our roof (Attic area), and then into the flat itself.
On early inspection, it looks as though the flat part of the roof is not allowing for the water to run off, is seeping through a crack and into the flat itself.
I think I have condensation from my loft that is marking my ceiling. I'd appreciate someone taking a look to see how we can rectify.
Casey was a really nice, personable guy who explained the problem and work thoroughly, and did the job right away. He even took before and after shots for me, and offered to email them. Would highly recommend.Sarah
I seem to have a leak coming from my roof, this was quickly repaired last year by putting felt over it but now the leak has re surfaced in my ceiling, the roof needs attention maybe even replacing some areas.
Aaron did a very good job, he came on time everyday and finished the job to a high standard, he also collected all the rubbish after completing the job, will keep his number for the future.Vanessa

Newly built extension has concrete flat roof. Small roof area, aprox. 2x5m. Roof solid but its leaking, probably at join with brick wall. Concrete roof has been sealed with black tar like paint, but join with brick work is allowing water to seep in and soak plasterwork of internal wall.
Installed lead flashing, applied waterproof membrane, repointed and sealed exposed brickwork. Quick response over Christmas period. Delivered work for fixed price, on time and as promised. Rod
New guttering required.
Also leaking at parapet wall due to problem aith flashings and / or pointing.
It is a slate roof on a Victorian terrace house.
Scafolding probably required.
Did a good job at a reasonable price and I have no complaints.Peter

Hello
I'm pretty sure the lead flashing on one section of my roof is damaged. I need a specialist to help me fix this.

I have a skylight that needs replacing. The skylight is accessible from a shaft in the bathroom or externally from the roof. The current skylight is the original 1970s local authority fitting - the glass rattling and drafty. The mechanism for opening/closing the skylight is a long cord with a screw mechanism that is now broken. We would probaly want to install either an electric opening mechanism or a more reliable manual method, but given the hight of the shaft above the bathroom, a pole would be inappropriate. There is also a leak on the roof at the side which is producing a slow drip into the loft. We would like this to be addressed if possible.

Unsold Job, Updated Details : Roofterrace needs improved waterproofing. Terrace is approx 2x2.5m, has a timber decking , low parapet brick walls with metal balustrade on two sides. Serious damp shows on the two external walls and leaking in the room below the terrace. Terrace is easily accessible. Original : Roof to terrace of extension to period house is not waterproof and has caused serious damp on external surrounding walls and room below. Timber decking on terrace is in need of new waterproofing on at least one side, is has also become very slippery. Probably needs to be cleaned underneath from leafs etc.

Hi. Dalston. Our house (built 2007) is flat roof, 4 stories incl basement. We have water running down an interior wall. From what I can see the drain feds an interior drainage system that feeds a downspout. I'm assuming the water is either leaking from where the drain is on the roof and travelling down the pipe into the wall, or the as the pipe bends to head along the ceiling to the downspout. It is not a fastleak but is continuous trickle as we just had heavy rain.

Updated : The collector of the rainwater pipe seems to be leaking/blocked, as the whole wall in the width of approx 40cm is wet and some serious damp is forming on the inside of the wall. Access to pipe and collector from balcony.
