My front roof ( slates) is leaking in several places, and I would like a quotation for the repair. I suspect that a few tiles only may need replacing, however presumably a closer inspection will reveal the extent.
Scott comes across very well, hence the reason why I used him although he was the most expensive quote. He did not hesitate to come back when I expressed uncertainty about an aspect of the job that had been done. Hence I would use again.

Repairs. Need lead flashings fitted in two places (possibly three). Possible repointing of chimney and investigation of (and solution to) damp from roof in top corner of bedroom.
Liked that they showed us the problems with our roof and chimney and explained them rather than just tell us what needed doing. Very professional foreman and we are really pleased with the attic work. Nice crew, kept things tidy and they cleaned up afterwards. Would recommend.

Alterations to the gutter at the front corner of our house (extension or the gutter which currently ends short of the corner) to sort out a damp problem there.
David came to quote the day after my request went out and carried out the work there and then for a very reasonable price with a 10 year guarantee! He was very friendly and efficient. I have only left the 5th star off for quality beacuse it's impossible to inspect from the ground and only time will tell whether it has dealt with our damp problem. However I have confidence that it has done the job and have David's reassurance he will return if there is a problem. So all in all I'm very satisfied.

I live in a 2 storey terrached house and there is leaking guttering at the front of the house. The guttering is just below the roof and the leak is occurring where the guttering from my house joins the guttering for the adjacent house (to the left if you are looking from the street). I would like new guttering put in across the leaking section and reset the remaining guttering to a suitable fall - the fall of the guttering seems to be an issue across my property and the adjacent property. Some useful further info might be that the adjacent house to the left of mine has no downpipe for their guttering so the rainwater goes into their gutter then runs across to mine, across my guttering then down the downpipe which is at the right hand side of my property, again if you're viewing from the street. This seesm to tbe normal format in the road.
Arrived when said, did the job as said and came back to do a small follow up fix at no extra cost and no quibble.

We need someone to sort out a damp patch in loft conversion shower room. Damp has appeared around the velux window so may be to do with that or possibly where the lead flashing and cement is on roof.
Ian did a great job for us when we discovered damp in our loft room. We had five quotes in all so had a good range of opinions as to where and what the problem was. We chose Ian to carry out the work as he was the only person to address all the probable causes & was also the most competitively priced. He organised the scaffolding, took me up on to the roof so I could see for myself and the work was done in day. (Also on noticing a broken gutter joint he replaced it at no extra charge.) Highly recommended

Victorian terrace home with back addition. Top bedroom on the back addition has small wet patches appearing on the wall where the wall meets the (new!) roof. Unfortunately there is no recourse with the firm that installed the roof and guttering as the owner has shut up shop! We are looking for a reputable firm to help us resolve our issues.

Flat roof repair/Roof terrace: I have a roof terrace that's approximately 3x5 meters square. It's been leaded and felted however it doesn't drain properly so, rather than lift it all off and re-pitch the roof joists I'm looking for a roofer to lay a new floor directly on top of the original and then seal it. It also needs balustrade added round the edge of the roof to make it safe to use. I already have planning permission to complete this work

We have a leak somewhere through the flat roof at the rear of the house. It's just happened, or at least become visible inside the house, in the last couple of days. Water had run down the bedroom wall (behind the wall) and soaked a small area of carpet near the wall. We don't know what the problem is. We need a diagnosis and a quote for any necessary remedial work. External access probably means climbing up onto the flat roof on the rear ground floor extension and from there up to the flat roof over the first floor rear bedroom.
