This is a Barn Conversion in Stratton Strawless, about 20 years old. The tiles are fine but the material underneath is perishing and needs replacing. There is a 3-bay 2 story section and a 2-bay single story too.
A top class job. The two roofs were old and used reclaim tiles throughout. The work was done to a high standard with pride in the work very evident. Communications were good and a fair attitude and responsiveness to requirements characterised the project. Really good value for money and I would have no hesitation in recommending DLK roofing again.David
Updated : l need my dome which is on a flat roof over the bathroom replaced, l would like it replaced a with PVC dome or a flat roof window. Am looking to get this replaced ASP.
Dome size approx 900mm x 900mm. Original : want to replace the old dome on flat roof for new one.
Ben and Adam and Josh turned up when they said to start the job, they soon got stuck in and as nothing in this house is easy. The price was right and materials of good quality. I would recommend them to anyone, and will use them again.

Roofers required to remove unsound chimney stack situated on eaves of 2-story house. Roofline is at 4.7m. House has large soffit, approx. 90cm. Roof is tile construction with no underfelt. Contractor is to remove chimney below roofline and re-tile. If any other immediate repairs are apparent (missing/cracked tiles etc, blocked guttering) these should be made good at the same time, subject to additional cost for materials. Contractor will supply own scaffold and remove all rubble from site, leaving chimney pot. Budget is £750 cash. Flexible on start time, contractor may fit in around other work. All work must be guaranteed.
We had a very unsound and unsafe chimney stack that urgently needed removing from the roof of our house. Nigel from Interiors4u responded to our advert almost instantly, gave us a quote the same day, and started work the following morning.
Nigel arrived on time early the next morning. He worked extremely hard throughout the day, in sub-zero temperatures, to remove the unsafe chimney and re-tile the resultant hole in our roof. Others had quoted two days' labour for work he completed in a day, which should tell you how hard he worked to ensure our roof was made safe quickly.
Nigel was courteous and very helpful throughout the job, gave honest advice, and the standard of work he did was very good. He sourced matching tiles to those on our roof, and when he had finished working, you would never have known there was ever a chimney stack there in the first place.
All in all, Nigel was very reliable, punctual, hard-working and polite. His work was good and his rates very reasonable. We will use him again and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.
Thank you very much!Simon

We have a leaking lean-to. WE require a repair to stop leaking water which has come through the wall. There is aprox 15 feet of lead flashing which is leaking under, which will need sealing. Also, where the wall plate meets the wall, there is water getting in, probably because of the gutter not flowing properly. Where the lean to meets the outside wall, there has been water erosion of original mortar. This will require replacement/making good. We'd also like a leak in the valley on the house to be repaired, where there is water coming through. We understand that this will be a temporary repair rather than a re-build. I imagine that crawl-boards will suffice for lean-to repairs, and roof repair wil require ladder.
Work done quickly and to a high standard. Heavy rains a few days after the work was done, and no leaks.
Thanks Gary.

Small hole in the roof visible from the inside as is leaking, but you cant see daylight through it. It could potentially be a tile that has moved/cracked or the flashing on the chimney that needs fixing.

My property is a bungalow with some PVC fascias, but also some wooden fascias which are showing signs of being rotten. I would require a quote for replacing those wooden ones and, at the same time, quoting for renewing a flat roof over my utility room. The roof is NOT leaking, but I believe it might benefit from some work on it. I am interested in the rubberised roofing work available, but that would depend a great deal on the cost involved. Working height I would imagine to be around 8 feet.
