I appear to have a leak on my dormer bungalow roof. We have noticed an amount of damp appearing in an end bedroom. Whilst not severe it does require attention before the bad weather arrives. I have had the end ridge tile replaced recently and the problem seemed to be sorted. The bedroom that has signs of a leak is situated on the drive side of the house - above the side entrance door and is a conversion under the eaves.
Very polite and informative and did the job quickly! I was informed of proceedings all the way and the job was completed promptly.

to replace a concrete tiled roof the tiles are not nail so can be reused but requires new or additional timber rafers, reflet,and batons as the timber rafters are starting to sink/sag the area is on a small roof to rear of property it is nine rows high and aprox fifteen tiles long.
They turned upon time gave me a time of one to two day's dependent on the weather but was finished in the day could not fault them at all would and will be using them again. Top notch guys.

I'm looking for some slate roof tiles to be replaced, and some pointing and possible repair to some of the lead flashing. There is some damp in the two loft bedrooms (approx where the two chimney stacks are) and not sure if this is due to the lead flashing/cracked roof tiles/pointing needing doing. There is also a small leak in one of the rooms (in bad weather) which we know is due to a cracked tile, this has had some sealent put on, by the guy who gave us a quote then failed to turn up to carry out the repair, but this possibly needs replacing now as it leaks slightly in very heavy rain! Looking for quotes at the minute and will instruct someone who can provide me a competative quote (to commence work approx October time though negotiable-just need it doing before winter) and isn't going to mess me around like the last guy who came to give a quote then never turned up to do the job!! If i can't get to the phone, please leave a message, contact details and best time to phone back as i work shifts so will answer your calls asap.

Two slate tiles have fallen broken/fallen off roof and others appear to have slipped. House is end of terrace 2 storey victorian cottage, roof in question is over bathroom at the back and I can't get at the right angle to see it. Blocked gutters are over a small conservatory and need special ladders to get at them (or so I've been told by general tradespeople).
Very fast response to ad (within the hour on a bank holiday!). Very prompt (actually early) and friendly. Fixed the roof tiles and cleared the guttering. I have to trust the tiles are fixed ok as I can't actually see that bit of the roof :-) and the next lot of rain will prove the gutters are clear, but have no doubt that if there are any problems I can call Mike back. Left area cleaner than it was before he came.

It is a terraced house. Water appears to be coming in from the roof (the plaster at the front left of the bedroom at the front of the house is becoming damp). My house is taller than the adjoining house at that side; leadwork is there but only goes up to the top of the adjoining house. It may be that leadwork is required to the top of mine also and this is where the water is getting in? 2 new ventilation tiles are also required; one at the front and one at the back of the house.
