"A Totally bad job.
I'd have been better leaving the existing guttering up.
When I started to complain about the job I couldn't get through to the tradesman on his contact number and then I got a text message from his partner stating that he was in hospital with heart failure??? and that he would rectify the situation. Two and a bit weeks on I still haven't heard from him or his partner! I'd already paid for the work as I didn't have a clue as to what to expect, but another tradesman has looked the job over and pointed out all the faults.
1. He used screws inside the guttering to fasten it down.
2. He left debris in the guttering
3. The guttering doesn't go the full length of the roof.
4. Where the downpipe and guttering meet there's no stopper, so water is spilling out all over the place when it rains.
5. He removed slates from the roof and didn't repair or replace them back correctly, just left lying in the hole he made.

The start date had to be put back a few days because of the waste removal sub-contract.
This actually suited us as there was quite a lot of stuff to remove from the garage.
They kept us informed at each stage of the job and finished within the stated time.
We were pleased with their work and have asked them to carry out some additional jobs,
and to quote for another job. "
