Velux window (2x3ft approx) installed in shallow angled roof of single storey extension 6 years ago but has been leaking and just become noticeable inside. It looks as though the frame has rotted!! Possible bad installation initially. More info on window ID plate is available. Require fixing/replacing as necessary.
A good professional job carried out by a very knowledgeable workman who worked in a clean and respectful manner. PS Coffee, milk no sugar!!

270 year old cottage, in Knaresborough, North Yorkshirre, tiles have moss on them and need cleaning. Guttering is leaking and needs checking. Also would like advice about general condition of roof
Eamon and Kev are both very likeable and approachable. They listened to what we wanted and reviewed things with us before continuing. Our roof looks a lot better now, and the gutter rearrangement will hopefully stop the damp patches on the wall. Eamon realised it was a listed building and read up on the requirements before carrying out the work. A reasonbably price job, carried out with high quality and in a professional , punctual manner.

rear of building faces a walled garden, the wall providing a walkway with the roof at waist height. Front of house is likely to be a minor repair only.
Quickest by far to contact me after putting my request in, cheapest quote, and turned up on time...... still looking for the catch! Work seems to be top notch... fixed our leaking roof the day before a week of torrential rain, and dry as a bone since. Obviously, work like this can only be really rated if it stands the test of time, but currently couldn't recommend him highly enough!

Two velux windows (M06)fitting. Also general roof maintenance required, pointing ridge tiles, replacing some broken/missing tiles, lead sheet work over bay window, removing a side chimney, replacing a cast iron swan neck piece of guttering.
Professional; do a good job; tidy up after themselves; easy to contact and deal with; and a price I was happy with. I would have no hesitation to use them again or to recommend them. The ridge tile pointing and making good the chimney are very well done jobs.
