Hello tradespeople. Not sure if we need a roofer or builder. We have a rainwater ingress in corner of bedroom at roof level. Had gable end - where roof tiles and gable meet - and ridge tiles re pointed couple of months ago but still have problem. We think we may have a problem with gable end capping stones moving away from rest of building and creating gap but we cannot verify this from ground level. This would presumably require some rebuild work at point of problem. Not sure at all as to how big a job this may or may not be so really need some professional, sensible advice. We also have water ingress at both sides of a ground floor window and despite much close up inspection we still can't work out how it's getting in. Dreading the next round of downpours! THANKS.
John and his team were polite, friendly and eager to please. They took me to the builders merchant to choose some materials when I wasn't sure what to go for. They worked extremely quickly and efficiently and listened to all my concerns. The job was completed exactly as arranged and everything was left clean and tidy.

Approx 24m Soffit and facia, 16 m bardge board and 19 meters garage cladding, new guttering all round and reapirs to felt at end roof using elephant board or equivalent requitring up to 2 course tiles stripped back and felt repared so no leaking into soffit tray. Minor roof ridge tile repairs and a couple tiles loose.
Therma Roof Coatings are a professional organisation who replaced soffits, facias and bardge boards on a large detached house in the most arctic conditions we have experienced in many years over one weekend. The 3 workmen arrived within 1 minute of their stated start time at 8.00am despite an 80 minute drive to my property. They worked without a decent break through to when they could see no more after 16.30 on both Saturday and Sunday. The organisation of materials delivery and scaffold delivery were timed perfectly to coincide with their start and the quality of materials used was as stated and was excellent. The finished job is good and I am largely pleased with the outcome. The only area for improvement would be over the initial thought process just before they started on site regarding where to start and how materials would be cut and used. The fact they started on the rear of the property has meant cut lengths and spacers are at the front of the house (due to its design) and therefore visible rather than at the back. In a couple of places the finish could have been slightly more "finessed" and an error drilling resulted in a drill whole in the wrong place on a fitted length of soffit. This has to weighed up against the extreme weather conditions in which they worked tirelessly. If I had to use my own scoring system I would suggest they were 8/10 on value, 10/10 on materials, 8/10 on work ethic and 6/10 on thinking the job through before starting and overall 8/10 I would be happy to recommend them to freinds and family.
