"Jon was great - he and his colleague turned up on time, got on with the job despite my chaotic house full of guests and a 2 year old, and was very friendly and polite. He did the job well, and took into consideration our comments and requests as he worked. It has rained once since Jon re-did our guttering, and the water ran straight into our new water-butt rather than pouring down the side of the house like before, so we're very pleased. I expected to do the dodgy cash-in-hand thing at the end of the day, but Jon told me to keep the money until he brought an invoice round a couple of days later which added to my confidence in his professionalism. We've since asked Jon back to do another small job."
