Budget Under £4,000

Job the tiles have shifted, some are worn and broken and I have two leaks which are very intermittent and don't depend on the amount and strength of rain i.e. sometimes a brief light shower will produce a leak whilst a really heavy downpour is completely dry. I need a quote to get my roof in good order just not ridiculously expensive please.

Budget Under £500

Job This is a detached concrete panel garage 25 feet x 10 feet approx. Current roof is corrugated cement fibre panels which now leak in places. I'm not too fussy about the materials used as long as it is a reasonably priced job. At present it is used mainly for storage/workshop. Will I need to clear it completely?

Comment As promised the job was finished in one day.Callled back next day as roof was leaking round every fixing nail.Lights had not been replaced in original positions which was obvious as the wiring had been re-routed in a very untidy fashion. These points attended to but I had to call them back again as the roof was still letting in rain in the same places. Nail caps removed sealant applied and caps replaced. Sprayed water on roof and it appears to be OK. Eric

Comment A price was agreed at first contact, and Apex workmen turned up on time , which was a big plus. It is the first roofing company that I have dealt with that I felt I could trust. Only down side was that matching tiles were not supplied, (fortunately I had spares), and they ran out of mastic, (again, which I supplied). Workmanship very good and it comes with a five year guarantee! Could improve on their cleaning up skills. Overall, Very pleased. Tony

Budget I'm not sure

Job Repair or replacement of old wooden panels attached to wooden bargeboards beneath the roof of our 1930s semi in west ewell. We are looking to have this work done quickly are we are concerned that the other panels may become loose and fall off

Comment Michael and his colleague refurbished the panelling at the front of out house after part of it fell off! The work was completed in a timely manner to a very good standard inspite of the appaling weather conditions. Thanks very much. julie

Job I am having general maintenance done to the house and discovered rotton eves on the noprth face of the house which need repair. It will need some tile removal and replacment of wooden eves and facias. Scafolding alreday in place so roof access is already facilitated.

Comment The Quailty of roofing work was very good and I was very happy with the performance and speed of the work. They used good quality materials and matched existing roof tiles appropriately. They left the are around the house neat and tidy and cleared away rubbish and waste. They were clear about the price for ascope of work and delivered the job accordingly. They were freind;y and polite and co-ordinated well with the other contractor I have on site also doing exteria works to the house. I would be very happy to engage them again on other work as it arises. Richard
