Updated : Repair of a leak on a modern tiled house roof. Original : Only a very small leak, luckily above the loft hatch, which we can leave open with bucket underneath. But not sure what's is causing it. I've had a local roofer out before who slapped some 'compo' into the pointing line and now the leak is coming from a little further along the ridge line. As the roofer only charged me £40 last time for about 20 mins work he said its not worth his time coming out again! I need a roofer who can look at the felting and the tiles and work out where the leak is coming from and fix it! (The leak is a constant drip in heavy rain only but needs fixing and as I can not pin point a certain date when it started my insurance company will not come out) Help from a professional would be appreciated please we are sick of using a bucket under the drip

Dismantle existing leaking lean-to roof over utility area at side of property. Replace with timber frame pitch roof, with skylights and continue into outdoor toilet area replacing existing dodgy roof on it, again with a skylight. We would consider also replacing the present conservatory with full height brick walls with a couple of windows and replacing roof with timber frame pitch roof with skylights.

Updated : Sorry I can not give any measurements as at my age I can not do this, I do not know what materials are needed to do the jobs, I have a bungalow.not a house so these jobs should be easier to do. I can increase the cost upto about £700 if this is not enough perhaps I could have one job done now and others later. the guttering is the most important,as are the vallies. I have already paid to have these jobs done but not a very good job was done. Hope this helps Original : repointing of ridge tiles and vallies adjusting guttering

First of all I have to say I was impressed with all three people who quoted me. The job went to Rubbertech who did a superb job absolutely top grade, if I could award six stars to Barry & Tony that is what I would give them. Arrived when they said they would, got on with it and cleared up after themselves. Would recommend them without hesitation.

Hi Bill you probably won't remember, but I was a friend of Sian Lewis many years ago and she recommended you to do some work for me - you have looked at my roof twice historically - on different houses. We have a roof which keeps leaking - 3 different locations (now repaired)and now a fourth, which wont get any better I am sure with the impending rain. Could you come and have a look and give us an urgent quote on a repair - and some other jobs which need doing over the next couple of months, I have no idea of budget so just picked the first one.
