Suspected water leak due to tiling movement. Slight water damage showing on bedroom ceiling. Have looked into attic from a step-ladder - access requires full size stepladder plus athleticism - deep insulation material hiding joists, crawl boards essential - there seems to be a depression in the insulation material which I suspect is water laden - not easy to see from the entrance to the attic. Apart from from sorting out water leak, re-pointing work is probably needed. The budget I have to choose in making this request is pure guess work. This is probably a two part job - firstly to stop any water leak, then repointing work following discussions with you.
A job well done, within the agreed time-frame, with eye to detail and initiative shown.

Didnt quite complete the job to spec agreed, but did the next best thing. He did spot some other issues with the roof at the time which he sorted temporarily, which was nice of him. He did agree to pass on a roof tilers number to get the issue done permanently but he never did. shame..

Small repair job needed - work to be done this week if possible. There is a small gap under the ridge where a portion of cement has been dislodged and fallen down into the guttering. There is another small gap under one of the last tiles just above the guttering where birds have been getting in.
Fast, friendly and excellent service. Would recommend and will definately be requesting quotes for any jobs in the future.

3 holes in area approx one m2 but more concerned about resulting leak through porch beneath holes. Ladders necessary but very unlikely that scaffold required.
Did not turn up to provide quote, despite us having waited in all morning. Very disappointing, particularly in view of previous ratings.

I'm not sure
replace iron downpipe wth a pvc one,will need high ladders old house quite high ,the pipe to be replaced is a straight piece from top to bottom where it falls into a open drain under kitchen window.
Steve turned up on time to quote us,reasonable price,.Came with in a couple of days to do the job, and everything seems fine. Would use again ,Cheers

We have a 1934 semi with an original roof. Most of the grout from between the tiles has now gone. The ridge tiles are in poor condition and the cimney needs repointing. There is some evidence of water ingress along the ridge beams in the loft. We need someone to survey the roof and prepare a written quote for the work that needs doing.
ALS Roofing provided a professional quote and did a good job on site. Turned up on time, worked considerately and finished the job early and to a good standard. I wouldnt hesitiate to ask them to quote for other work.

We have a traditional rosemary tiled roof with a dormer window there us almost no water proof membrane on the front or sides but of the rear of the building has a recently built extension which does. i am looking for a good builder to install a membrane , new battens and re lay the existing tiles. also it may be a good idea to replace the soffits and guttering as well while the scaffold is there and possibly re render the front and side of the building as well.. i am away from home Easter week so i can clear the drive of cars so that some of the heavier work can be done that week Timing: ASAP
