To the front of the house, access is good however tall ladders would be needed. The leak has been unsuccessfully dealt with before. You can see from inside the loft where the leak is. I think it should be a simple repair but I want to get it done urgently before the winter kicks in.
I got a very fast response to my posting. They looked at the job on Saturday, sent me a quote on Monday and completed the work on the following Friday. I am extremely happy with R and L Builders.

porches are apeox 10'x8' and less than 10 feet from the ground. the back inside is marin ply that is damp enough to ne moldy. the front plaster board that had warped as the roof leaked. leak seems to have blocked itself last doen 10 years ago. felt tar and stones. skylight on main roof so could be separate job.
this is my third time on this. I am having problems because he did not ned to replace the roofs but renewed them instead and now whats paying what we agreed for replacing them

Shed roof leaking and needs the roof felt replaced. 2 sheds approx 12x9ft and 14x18ft.
Jason gave by far the best quote - he completed the whole task in one day with some help from subcontractors. The finished work is excellent and he found a good solution to our shed roofing problem.

Piece of guttering blown down in wind
Was contacted almost immediately by this trader, who came 2 hours after submitting job. Having viewed the problem, Alan said that this guttering was now obsolete, and would have to be a different type. As it was obvious to me that the whole side would have to be replaced, he then went to a local Wickes, phoned to tell me the cost, and revised quote, and checked it was acceptable. He returned with all the parts and replaced the guttering. The job was well done, and Alan also noticed a missing tile on the front of the house, which he pointed out. As he had one, he offered to replace it, but unfortunately the fixing pins were broken, and this couldn't be done. He is returning at a later date to complete this. I will be using this person again.
