I have an unused chimney that is causing damp inside. The stack doesn't have any pots on it, so I don't know whether it was blocked and is leaking from the top or the side.

The chimney pot is broken and some has fallen onto the roof. It looks like it may fall at any time.
Marshalls were quick to respond to my job post and was able to quote later that day following a job nearby. The quote was less than I had expected. It was a relatively quick job and they were able to do it the same day. The job was done well and on time. They were great, would definately recommend Marshalls

LJ roofing came on the agreed date, and replaced my soffits facia guttering and downpipes. There was no fuss or bother and the job was done to an excellent standard. The price was very resonable and was fixed to the origional estimate. They also did some additional bits for me including cutting and replacing two broken tiles on the varanda window. Hi, I'd like a rough estimate on how much it would cost to fit a basic velux window to a pitched concrete tile roof. The house is 60 years old so there's no felt lining under the tile laths. The window would be a 55cm x 78cm pine finish centre pivot velux window at a cost of £138.00 + vat. Access to the loft is ok, there are storage panels over the joists which have been reinforced to take more weight. Exterior access would be by ladders/scoffolds. I'm in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
