Please make sure that you get a written quote from this tradesman. I told this person it was LABOUR ONLY but he started to give us receipts (which we paid for in good faith) for the items he never used at our property. He told us he would start at 8.30am but never used to turn up till 9.30-10am and finish at around 2pm!!! we have occurred a few problems and have tried contacting him but he doesn't answer his phone. He tends to ask for the money for his labour after he's been there for only a couple of days.Tas
The demolition and removal of large outbuilding building building 25ft x22ft constructed of breeze block, pitched tiled roof. Building is at end of garden with no rear access to property unfortunately.
What can I say - great guy whose attention for detail, hard work and friendliness has made this whole experience worthwhile. Together with his pal Mick they have begun the transformation of my garden - after the 18 fence panels refencing back fence and demolitioning the outbuilding they have had a well earned rest before commencing on the patio;-) Would highly recommend both James and Mickdrew
The premises is a business / warehouse.
We are looking to get our existing phone line moved in our warehouse and in addition get some data ports added in to our new offices.
It is a wireless network, but we are looking to add wired connections also.
We are looking to feed the cable across the warehouse ourselves as we are hiring in equipment to do several high jobs anyway. So the work would be installation of new cabling and data sockets in 4 offices in the same block.

Updated : It appears there is moss on the roof and I can't tell whether there is a problem with a lead flashing on a chimney stack used jointly with the neighbour who is also experiencing damp in an upstairs room. The brick work is rendered with pebble dash which appears sound Original : There is evidence of damp in both upstairs front bedrooms and in the hall downstairs. I am unsure whether this is the result of a roof problem or penetrating damp and downstairs whether rising damp or a general failure of a dpc

We have a block driveway that has sunk in places which requires repair and re-laying, but we also wish to extend it to accomodate an additional 2 cars. We require advice and wish to discuss available options. We intend to give this job only to a 'time-served' tradesman who can provide long term references and can show local work carried out over a number of years.

I am not sure I am putting this in the right area but we have a problem which I think may be condensation. We have a problem with dampness on our walls in our bedroom which also sometimes results in mold. This We have decorated on numerous occasions, used damp proofing paint and it still returns. It also attaches itself to our furniture, clothes have been ruined etc. I am wanting someone to come out to tell us what the problem is and how much it will be to rectify the problem but please be advised that we have to save up for repairs to be done so depending on cost it may take a few months before we go ahead with any work. Our building is a single flat above some garages. I think that is all the information I can give for the time being. I also struggle to answer my
