BT engineer connected 1 main line. all other 3 line still live and connected to virgin. BT person unwilling to connect remaining 3 sockets to BT. need someone to transfer the other 3 lines to BT

I need a specialist in rising damp also advice on damp kitchen floor. I notice that paint is coming off the walls but no sign of dampness.
I am really impressed with his knowledge he said it wasn't rising damp which he proved with the instrument he tested. It was humidity due to condensation and dampness because a leak in the washing machine pipe which he went to all the trouble to look under the sink. He said that this was the likely cause slow leakage across the floor and escaping into the walls thus showing salt particles. Since then I had a plumber come and stop the leak. He also suggested that walls need to be dried out before any paint.

The installed units are Daikin and were installed 3 years ago. They have been maintained on six monthly basis and I am now looking for a new company for a maintenance contract. The units are in a residence and not a business.
I have only used D-Air once for maintenance and intend to use them regularly from now on. Very efficient and punctual. I would recommend them.

Seeking a soundproofing solution to drown out my noisy neighbours, but expect it will not be possible as I fear I have left it too late! Bought a 3 bed semi detached house in ilford Essex around 2 years ago and proceeded over the course of the first year to totally refurbish it. Everything brand new, plus new decoration throughout. Costing me approx 40k. Only been living in it 6 months now and soon realized that although it’s a solid 1930s build, the neighbours toddlers plus screaming new born come through the wall loud and clear. Pissing me of hugely!! Had I realized this before, when I had it at the place stripped to the bone at remodeling stage I would have invested in a top noise reduction system throughout the entire upstairs and downstairs attached side of the property before commencing decoration. I have no desire to redecorate again so soon after having everything done already to quite a high standard…. Is there anything I can do? Suggestions? Thank you. James Timing: ASAP

Really bad damp on two kitchen walls. I don't think damp proofing will work as the walls are really bad and will need treating. Measuring 5.3 by 3.4 meters. One wall in external and the other wall is half external. Its seems like an old extension where no damp proff ling was used. Need to get this job done ASAP as the walls are getting worse. Thanks.
