We are looking for a high quality handyman who can do most things related to the maintainence of a holiday cottage. This will include general improvements, fixings, repairs, joinery, painting and decorating. Preferable but not essential would be exterior work and electrics. Quality work at a fair price is what we are looking for and friendly trustworthy person. We need to be able to trust the quality of the work done when we are not here. There are a number of small jobs that need doing right now such as fitment of 3 x antique curtain poles, repair and fitment of 2 x door handles, securing curtain tiebacks, kitchen kickboard secure, fridge and freezer leveling and securing plus others. The holiday cottage is a 400 year old grade II listed former Fisherman's Inn on the seafront which has only just undergone a recent renovation but requires quite a few finishing touches and continual upkeep. We want a tradesman who appreciates quality and historical integrity of the building. We are also looking to purchase further high quality holiday cottages in the North Wales area and we would hope that this person would be able to undertake works on those properties too. I suppose this is an ad hoc and ongoing job. Please bear in mind that we will only be interested in people with very good ratings.
