A nearby leaking swimming pool has caused persistent flooding into our property (2 metres lower than source of water) for 6 months every year for 5 years. This has resulted in a breakdown of our damp course which has caused damp in our external/internal walls and ground floor. The internal rooms that show damp are the kitchen, conservatory, utility room and drawing room. We will need a new damp course injected into all of our side exterior wall (50 feet long) as well as into the interior walls, and the utility room floor and possibly the kitchen floor to be waterproofed. Timing: I am flexible on start date
Martin Kingsley arrived half an hour before the agreed time. His manner was very stressful. He refused to listen to anything I tried to tell him. He only wanted to see our structural engineer’s report. He dismissed a wall showing severe damp patches and peeling paint by stating it looked dry to him.

2 bedrooms, each has a fireplace, soundproofing in alcoves, total area approx 4.5m wide x 3m high. Pictures rails and skirting need moving.
Gerry did an excellent job. No nasty surprises on cost, charged exactly as quoted. Turned up when he said he would. He was very neat and tidy. I left him work alone on the house and can vouch for him being trustworthy. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

Hello, We recently had a survey completed on our property and have found issues of damp on four walls in different rooms and also woodworm in the loft. Could you let me know: a) A large area of damp is in the kitchen – along the extension wall. Would you be able to remove the fitted kitchen to reach the area of concern and then help re-fit the kitchen? b) Please confirm that after injecting the damp course, you can re plaster the walls affected. c) How long ‘approximately’ this type of work would take? I understand this may be tough to estimate, but a rough guess-timate would be good. d) How early a representative can come to view the issues discussed and if you produce a report of your findings
