I have damp on a wall at the back of the house and would like a quote to have a course of damp proofing and re-plastering etc.
We were really pleased that we found Gordon through Rated People for the damp proofing/plastering work we needed. His quote was very competitive and he did a great job, whilst being extremely friendly and reliable. Would definitely use him again for any future work!Richard
Damp to party wall in the kitchen and small step between kitchen and dining room. Kitchen is concrete floor and dining room timber floor. House age 1901.
Need to locate exactly extent of the damp and put in a new injection damp proof course to prevent further damp.
Fred and Rudi responded to my post really quickly and came round the same evening to quote for the work. I was impressed with the work they carried out and even offered to plaster an extra area of wall at no extra cost. They worked over the weekend and stayed late on Sunday night to finish the job.Kate
The work was carried out to my complete satisfaction. The men were polite and curteous and very tidy. They came when they said they would and came back to finish the job and did not ask for payment until the job was completely finished.Ian
Summary. An area of approximately 3 square metres has sunk. Pavoirs need to be lifted and laid aside for re-use, base layer replaced and compacted. Pavoirs replaced.
A skilled and affable craftsman who goes the extra mile to deliver customer delight. Highly recommended. A good communicator who explained clearly what needed to be done and once agreed delivered on his side of the bargain. I'm very happy with the repair and the time taken. For me it represented great value. Would I use this supplier again? The answer is a resounding "Yes!" Thanks for a great job.Bob

1920's ex council terraced house. Previous owners built small extension at the back to house a bathroom, a storage closet, and a short hall leading from the kitchen to the bathroom. Area used to be tiled from floor to ceiling.
Removed the floor to ceiling tiles in kitchen and short hall and painted instead. Kitchen is fine.
However, short hall to bathroom is covered with damp stains, peeling paint, some mould etc. No sense redecorating again until underlying problem is dealt with. Please advise. Thank you.
