diagnose/resolve damp + replaster (1 corner/wall) - we have a terrace house and at the front of the house, on the left looking out, the corner of the room has lost it's paint and the plaster is not what it was. cheap damp meter shows a measure of 38%.

I have a 2 bedroom Victorian cottage.
There is no cavity wall insulation and I am on a hill mid way up
When it rains, water creeps up the walls into the property about 1 metre high and all the walls are damp and paper ruined .
I require a damp course for the downstairs sitting room which is a small room no more than 3 x 4 metres, narrow short hall and possibly bathroom.
A trench has already been dug outside the sitting room wall to take moisture away from the house but more ventilation is required as the internal floor is almost level with outside.
Also some central heating pipework is in the walls and may not be insulated resulted in problems there too.
It would be good if I can get a company who not only specialise in damp proofing but are reliable builders to finish the work after the damp course has been done too. Happy to accept quotes for
damp course and corresponding repair / plaster work to be done after.

The small bedroom and the bathroom have some mold, which may need some treatment.
My tenants say they saw water traces in the all rooms and some ceilings all around the flat.
Also in the living room one of the newly installed window frames is not fully covered with plaster/sealant.
The flat is a two bedroom, 1st floor victorian conversion.

Updated : I really need a realistic estimate and a genuine tradesman who is willing to view prior to work being carried out, although I must stress I am very keen to have this work done asap, however am unsure of how much work is necessary to resolve this problem Original : Property is an end of terrace (Built 1933), located in SE18. Top Bedroom floor - front and back bay window walls appear to have a damp issue which covers the majority of the wall beneath the bay windows. This needs to be first assessed in order to establish the cause of the problem and then to confirmed best course of action/repair. Thank you.

I have slugs in the house mainly under the stairs and fear it may be due to moisture in the house, I have had a damp proof course put in in February though. Not sure what needs to be done, but I am about to lay wood flooring on the ground floor.

Rear wall of reception is an external wall to a lean-to area. We require an assement of the damp and a damp proofing solution. The further rear wall will also require treatment and a couple of other areas.
