I live in a Victorian terraced house and the neighbouring property has been converted into flats. My bedroom wall is shared with the neighbours living space and a lot of noise (tv, voices etc) travels through the wall, especially if they are socialising. The level of noise is not particularly anti-social, but it does disturb my sleep. The wall is approximately 277cm floor to ceiling and 364cm across. There is a chimney with a fireplace (not operational) which I would like to either have removed and blocked up or boxed in. There is also a picture rail, skirts etc to take into account. If further details are required, do please let me know. Until I receive any quotes I'm unaware of the realistic costs involved, so if I need to amend my selected budget, that's fine.
