I have been told that it needs lining, in order to have open fires. The fire place, itself may need opening out to accommodate a small stove and I believe the chimney cap needs opening up. The flat is on the third floor, we have full access to the loft.

Updated : There's not a lot of space in the loft as my flat takes up some of the loft space so unrolling mineral wool lagging will be awkward but possible in some areas of the loft. In other areas an alternative will need to be found. Original : Have a small and unusually shaped loft with no insulation in - needs insulating but mineral wool lagging is not going to be an option i think i need roof cavity to be spray-filled.

Hi there
I'd like to get quotes for scaffolding the entire width (front) of our victorian terrace. There is a basement flat in our property and the three levels (ground floor, first floor, top floor/loft flat) - we'd like scaffolding all the way to the top so that the roof/guttering can be checked. I expect that we'll need the scaffolding in place for 2-4 weeks and are looking for this work to be undertaken sometime over the next few months.
