I have purchased a small cottage in Partington Manchester. The rear has had an overflow leak and ivy problems for many years. The overflow leak has been stopped and the ivy will be removed by my maintence man. The rear wall is very damp all the way up to the ceiling,as water has come through and also ivy has grown inside rear wall of house from the skirting boards. I addition the front wall is damp, possibly DPC required there as well
