Front wall of the house has been damp for some time and may need remedial work to fix this. Would like someone to come out and see what work may be required and provide a quotation for the work. The house is a 1920s/30s semi detached house with what I think are solid walls not cavity (but not 100% sure) length of wall about 6-7 metres. Side wall of house may also need doing but not as pressing and depending on price may need to be completed at a later date.
Andy was very helpful. Talked us through what he was doing and the problems there may be. Very knowledable and reasuring. Punctual and polite, he carried out the work quickly and efficiently.

I have developed a small wet patch on an internal wall along side an outside external door. A couple of people have looked at it and the opinion varies between I am getting water ingress at the side of the door to my damp proof course has failed and I need it repaired. I think I need a specialist to survey the area and advise what the next step is - either a repair to the door or work to the DPC.

We need to use our small open fireplace in the top bedroom of our terraced house. Currently smoke fumes come into the neighbours house and our middle bedroom. It is an iron fireplace. We have a wooodburner that has a lined chimney on a separate stack for our front living room. If we line the bedroom chimney it would be approximately 3m to the top of the chimney stack. We do not want a wood burning stove. Is it possible to do this job?
