Rising damp in large disused fireplace, size 155cm wide, 60 cm deep and 120cm in height. Damp was treated in joining wall about 10 years ago but damp in fireplace persists.
Old pit terrace built in 1900, solid concrete floor, probably put in about 30 years ago.
Need damp treated, chimney blocked up and fireplace plastered.
Timing: Within 2 weeks

Removed large tree without questioning Councils authority, unlike other "tree surgeons" who seemed to ooh and aah before even checking.

we have damp problams in my front room and rear room.we need a geniun quote frome a registererd damp proofing company.we have kids and have found
out that it could be dangerous for kids so need job doing ASAP.

Soundproof a domestic bedroom party wall to reduce nightime neighbour noise from radio/TV. Wallsize approx 8-10 sqm, flat with no electric sockets. Resilient bar system prefered to be finish skimmed. Poss lead to soundproof other rooms.

I don't want Block paving but this is the only category I could find... We live on a shared road and the whole road needs scraping off , hard cored and re-surfaced in Tarmac, it is in a bad state so is past filling in Pot Holes and Re-surfacing.
The road is about 100 metres long and between 2.5 and 3 metres wide. so we are looking for a specialist in Tarmac Roads. we've discussed with the other 3 households that share the road us and 2 others are keen to have this done and the household will make arrangements for their part perhaps in future.
