1950's semi and the damp proofing has been breached due to the previous owners installing a patio at the rear of the property. Rising damp running along the back of the property up to the side/kitchen door. We are prepared to some of the work such as remove the damp plaster and patio ourselves in order to keep costs down.
Tim provided honest and impartial advice and in particular the most cost affective solution to my specific damp problem. Explained the solutions in simple terms.
Tim turned up early and completed the job to a high standard and ensured the area he worked in was clean and tidy before finishing.
House is now damp free and at a very reasonable price.
Would recomend Tim to anyone with damp issues.

I'm not sure
1 bedroon cast iron firplace to be fitted just for decoration. Will need to advise and purchase period (or equivalent) hearth.
Dave is a very polite and reliable tradesman who did a good job in installing our cast iron fire place and making us a tile hearth.

I'm not sure
There are signs of woodworm in the roof timbers of our garage. I'm not sure how extensive it is. I need someone to take a look and give us a quote for treating it.

Lounge wall (inside) has a damp patch, plaster flaking off and wall paper peeling.
Jonathan did an excellent job for a reasonable price. I will definitely use him again and reccomend him to my friends.

We have a minor damp problem in a number of the walls of our house. Approximately 15% of the external walls, and 10% of internal walls require damp-proofing. There are some signs of salt marks in some areas.
Please include cost of replastering the areas and teh removal and re-fitting of 2-3 radiators to access the areas. Please note if the cost of redecoration is included or is possible to be included in the price.
The surveyor who examined our property pre-purchase noted that it required some of the brick ties replaced as the old iron brick ties were rusting, expanding and damaging the brickwork. Please quote for the replacement of the brick ties and re-pointing if this is also required after the work is finished. The brickwork only goes up to the bottom of the first floor level.

Really lovely folks to work with, clean and tidy (to the extent that any dampcourse work can be!), and reliable and honest.
Great value too, coming in at half the price of a well-known company with no skimping on quality.
