Updated : I have Marron Emperador Marble shower tiles that have been damaged with Viakal. Really friendly and helpful. Had the repair work done on my bathroom tiles quicker than expected and to a good standard. I would definitely use them again.

Remove and repoint red sandstone garden walls. It's approximately 100m2 of wall (over three walls) The existing cement has been put on very badly and needs replacing. Not sure about the actual cost, so looking for quotes
Joe chipped off and replaced the concrete with lime mortar on 100 m2 of external sandstone walls in my garden. This was difficult and he has done and excellent job. He was tidy and efficient in unfavourable conditions.

The front slab entrance step to our house is badly cracked and needs repaired. It is a single step, roughly square.
Asked him to repair and paint our front step, which needed to wait for good weather. Very good communication throughout and did a good job. Would use again.

Require a base to be laid for a shed. The shed will be 8ft by 10ft. Am not sure what site preparation will be required - probably not much as the site is already level - looks like there has been a shed there previously. The base could be either a deep concrete slab or a shallower slab with paving stones on it - your advice would be welcome. There is no direct garden access so all tools must be taken through house.
Was really happy with the job by Salvi and the other two guys that helped. They were very careful coming in and out of the house and did a great job with the slab. Thank you.

A stone worker, or stone mason, is a highly skilled craftsman who has spent many years making all kinds of beautiful objects out of stone. One of the oldest trades in the world, stone masons continue to have an important role in construction and home improvement.

What does a stone worker do?

If you have an older property with stone masonry and architecture, a stone mason can carry out repairs to damaged or worn parts of the interior and exterior of the home. Some stone masons specialise in restoration work, and know where to source materials that may be difficult to find because they are no longer regarded as a common building material. They are skilled in the techniques needed to carry out repairs and make additions that are in keeping with the original style of the property - particularly useful if your house is a Listed building or in a conservation area. Stone workers also carry out more contemporary tasks such as building stone fireplaces and garden furniture.
