Repair/replacement of two or three Bath Stone blocks below dpc on front bay window of 1930's semi. Blocks coming loose and surface spalling (possibly frost damage?).
I chose George on the basis of a good reference from one of his previous clients. He was keen to do the work and quoted a reasonable price. He arrived on time and was polite and presentable. He found the problems to be slightly more extensive than initially anticipated, explained the situation and did a good job in sorting them out, albeit at a slightly higher price. All-in-all a good job at a fair price.

Should be able to reuse all stone on site, and we will deal with any waste. Exact widening to be determined by what is most practical. Planners are happy with this, and we will source contractor to lower the kerb outside separately, if necessary. I am looking for an individual who works for themselves, with local references, rather than a garden services team.
Very pleased. Widened our stone wall/ driveway for us, which included moving a difficult pillar and large capping stone. Punctual, practical and just got on with it. Did a great job, kept the site very tidy and left it very tidy afterwards, even patching up a few bits that we didn't expect. Highly recommended. Penny, Cotham Bristol.
