I have just bought a house which was originally built in 1910. It was subsequently painted white, but that has been removed (although still evident in parts of the mortar and also one elevation is still painted), The brick appears exposed where the paint has been removed, I don't know whether its been sand blasted. There have been numerous extensions to the original house, all of which have not complemented the original house. I want to firstly make good the original brick and mortar and then extend and develop the rest of the house (extensions) using the same brick and mortar, windows, high ceilings etc, that is the original house. I need a stone mason to assess the brick of the original house
